MicrolistTerms and conditions
The list
Microlist is a to-do list you can keep on this phone, then share with a link. There is no account. Using the list means you agree to these terms.
Your name
Sharing asks for a name. Anyone who opens the link adds a name before they write or check items. That name is shown on the items they add, edit, or check. Pick a name you are fine showing to the other people on the list.
The link is the key
A shared list is public to anyone who has the link. They can read it, add items, edit items, and check items off. Don’t send the link to someone who shouldn’t see the list. If the link gets out, treat the list as shared.
How long a list lasts
A list that stays on this phone is kept in this browser until you start a new list or clear the site data. A shared list is deleted automatically 30 days after the link is created. Items on that list go with it. We don’t promise to keep a copy.
What to leave off the list
Use the list for ordinary tasks and notes. Don’t put passwords, payment numbers, government IDs, health details, or anything you wouldn’t hand to a stranger who found the link.
You are responsible for what you write. Don’t use Microlist to break the law, to harass someone, or to store material you don’t have the right to share. Don’t use a script to spawn lists or fill them with junk. We slow that traffic down.
An assistant can connect only after you approve an email code or the link in that email. You are responsible for what that assistant writes. Don’t share the code. Don’t use the connection to spawn junk lists. We can revoke a connection that breaks these terms.
The service can change
Microlist is offered as it is. A list can fail to save, a link can stop opening, and the service can change or stop. We can remove a list that breaks these terms or the law. We don’t promise the list will be available, accurate, or private beyond what the Privacy page says.
These terms
If one part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still stands. The Privacy page explains what is stored and who can see it. These terms were updated on October 28, 2026. Continuing to use Microlist after a change means you accept the new terms.
